Transition from Pokemon Gen 3 to X/Y [on hold]
I haven't played or follow Pokemon since Gen 3 (Ruby/Sapphire) and I plan
on getting a 3DS and hopefully get up to speed for X and Y. What are the
mechanics that I should really be aware of when raising my Pokemons?
More precisly are there any irreversible mechanics that I should really be
aware of when playing for the first time? (Similar to how EV points were
crucial) Are there any major mechanic transitions between Diamond/Pearl ->
White/Black -> V2 -> X/Y
